Once you have your wedding date booked, reach out to us using our phone number or contact form here on the website. We’ll send you a questionnaire that we need to determine the services desired and cost. We will need to know the number of services required at the time of booking, so we recommend gathering all the information ahead of time. Once this has been determined, we will send a contract and retainer invoice. Please note, we cannot hold a wedding date without this information and invoice fulfilled.
What are the minimum requirements for services on my wedding day?
We require a minimum of the bride and four additional services of hair or makeup for your wedding day.
How do I schedule hair and makeup trials?
We will reach out to the bride 90 days before the wedding to schedule the trials. We recommend trials be scheduled about 3-6 weeks before the wedding day to ensure that you have ample time to determine what you envision for your big day. This also allows extra time in case any changes need to be made. Trials are completed at the artists’ studio or home, however, if you prefer they travel to you, there is a $.80/mile round trip fee.
How many stylists and artists can I have and what time do services start?
Let us know what time everyone needs to be ready by and we create the perfect itinerary for your wedding day. The number of artists/stylists depends on the number of services you need and what time everyone needs to be ready by. The final itinerary is sent out no later than 60 days before the wedding for the bride to look over and confirm.
Am I able to add-on services at a later time?
Services may be added on at any time after the wedding is booked as long as time allows for it on the wedding day.
How are travel fees calculated?
Travel of up to 40 miles from the artist location is included in our pricing for your wedding day. After 40 miles round trip, an extra travel charge of $.80 per mile per stylist/artist is applied. If travel of more than two hours one way is required for any artist, hotel accommodations are required for the night before.
When will payments need to be made?
There is a $200 retainer that is due at the time of booking to secure a wedding day. The retainer will be subtracted from the final total. The retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable to ensure that all of our bridal parties get the appropriate artist and services that they need. A final invoice will be e-mailed 60 days before the wedding date, which is due in full no later than two weeks prior to the wedding date.
Can I leave gratuity to my artists/stylists?
18% gratuity is automatically added to each service for your convenience on top of the pricing we provide. All gratuity goes directly to your stylist/artist, and it will be shown on the final invoice.
What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that sometimes things don’t happen as we would like. Scheduled services cannot be canceled within four weeks of the wedding day, however, we do allow them to be transferred to another person. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel the services, and we will work with you based on our policies.
How many stylists/artists are available for my wedding date?
Based on your answers within the questionnaire, we will able to determine how many artists or stylists are needed for your day. We will always make sure that you are completely staffed with the appropriate number!
How much time should be allotted for the completion of these services? How should we prepare for these services?
The length of time allotted will vary depending on the number of services being completed and what time you need to be ready by. We recommend always leaving extra time to make sure that everyone is ready a little bit before the desired time. We don’t ever want to see any late brides! We will send out a final itinerary no later than 60 days before the wedding for you to look over and confirm. If you have any concerns, you can always let us know!
Anyone receiving hair services should arrive with clean, dry hair, and anyone receiving makeup services should arrive with clean skin. It’s that simple! Our artists use professional products for hair and skin prep as well as the application and style to ensure that your look will last you for as long as the party goes on! We follow all sanitation practices for our products and tools, and we are happy to work with anyone who has allergies and sensitivities.
