The Top Wedding Hair Styles to Consider
How Long Should My Hair Be For My Wedding?
If you are someone who loves living their life with short hair (guilty) then you need to determine what length you are going to keep your hair for your wedding.
Most people getting married are going to grow their hair long on their wedding day. For the most part, we are going to orchestrate this blog to that demographic. Down the line, we might do a short hairstyles for weddings blog, but this isn’t the one we want to cover at the moment. (Keep in mine, we are huge fans of shorter lengths and styles. We have techniques to take care of any length you feel your most beautiful at.)
Our Top Wedding Hair Styles
The Up Down
This is one of the top wedding hairstyles we have created and perfected over the last few years. So many women feel their most confident wearing their hair down, and it seems their finance loves it that way too. Wearing your hair down might not be elegant enough for your wedding day. To add a little something special, and look for those half-up down styles.
Greek Goddess
This is a major favorite of mine because it always has such a glamorous wedding feel to it. This hairstyle can be done in so many ways but you will find it most flattering when you add clip-in extensions to it. This look gives you the feel that your hair is cascading down your back or over your shoulder with more structure than just wearing it down.
Fishtail Braid
This is the go-to choice for brides who have a lot, and we mean A LOT, of hair. This, coupled with a low bun in the back will help secure your hair in place through the entire night and has a modern feel. No more worrying if your hair will fall out throughout the day, before making it to your reception party.
The Updo
Our second most request hairstyle has been the low updo/bun. Brides are looking for a soft, romantic, and undone look. They love pieces framing their face and gentle pieces hanging down from the bun. The more texture the better. Long gone are the hairstyles from the early 2000’s of slicked back hair and perfectly placed curls.
Side Swept Braided Knot
This is one of those showstopper looks when pulled off right. It works even better when you place a hair accessory within the braided section. Definitely call us if you think you want to pull this off because it is such an elegant look.
