Wedding Morning Experience

Wedding Morning Experience | What Your Venue Offers

We want to start by giving a HUGE thank you to Earle Bown Heritage Center for taking the time to work with us for our new blog post.  We have done hair and makeup services at this wedding venue many times and have nothing but amazing things to say.  I wanted them to give some details that help them stand out as a wedding venue and help a bride envision what the start of her wedding day will look like.

“At Earle Brown Heritage Center, we have multiple getting ready spaces that can be included with a wedding ceremony package.  Space isn’t a concern for us and we can easily accommodate any size wedding party.  We provide tables, chairs, and a mirror within the space, but we recommend that the bridal party bring additional mirrors for convenience’s sake so multiple people can be doing hair, makeup, and getting dressed simultaneously.

One of the most common hurdles we see in doing on-site bridal hair and makeup is simply timing: when does the bridal party have time to get food and eat before pictures start?  They’re usually arriving early in the morning and plan to be here the entire day, and most vendors won’t allow outside food and beverages.  At Earle Brown Heritage Center we offer onsite catering, so the couple can order food and beverages directly through us to be served while the bridal party gets ready. We can offer breakfast, fruit trays, sandwiches, and most importantly: mimosas.

The “getting ready” experience with the bridal party has become an extremely special part of the big day.  It’s where the party gets all their fun memorable photos of the bride and her girls, photos of the little flower girls getting ready, those touching photos where her mother helps her into the dress, and those last few moments with her “tribe” before she walks down the aisle.  It’s really a place and time where details matter and the right venue will help you get those details right.”
